Photovoltaics Solar Energy (PV) is the most promising renewable energy source. The current technology is based to silicon which is revealing a very fast decrease of price. The aim of this SPOC is to provide a general overview of the PV technologies and PV systems in the global current energetic context. Economics and environmental issues of the PV technologies are also described.
At the end of this SPOC the trainees will:
- get a general knowledge, from the various solar energy and PV technologies to the PV systems.
- get an understanding on economics issues in the global energetic context
